The Globe Hotel, Chagford – Then and Now

When comparing two pictures taken 90 years apart of the Globe Hotel (Inn) in Chagford, it is remarkable how very little has changed. The Globe Inn is an early 16th century coaching inn and was originally named the ‘Gregory’s Arms’. It is said to be haunted.

The post attempts to merge the two photographs together of the hotel from 1931 and 2021 in a series, with a gradual change between each one slowly revealing the minor differences between the two aforementioned years.
