Dartmoor Explorations

A collection of walks, discoveries, insights and pictures of exploring Dartmoor National Park

Lower Cherry Brook Bridge

Robert Burnard is best known for his pictorial records and for establishing the Dartmoor Preservation Association (DPA) in 1883. He is a particular favourite of the author and to pay homage to him he has been transported from 1887 to 2021.

Lower Cherry Brook Bridge is only a few miles from Huccaby House, where Robert Burnard lived from 1904, a full 7 years after this picture was taken.
