Mystery Inscription on Clapper Bridge across Holne Town Gutter Leat

There is a mystery inscription on a clapper bridge which is located just south of the Ringleshutes Mine Track and spans Holne Town Gutter at SX68699 70267.

The inscription is located on the west face (upstream side) of the clapper and appears to read: “M J J 10.10.50”. The assumption is that it relates to possibly a local or ‘leats man’ ?
